Family ancestors grieving the loss of husband and father, Lone Fir Cemetery 1897. He died on the ferry while en route from his Albina home to his downtown jewelry story. The cemetery was named the Lone Fir in the late 1860s , fitting since there was but one solitary fir on the land.
